A three-panel aluminium Smart Systems Visofold doorset in Harlow was reported with the doors catching at the bottom. The assessment found the panels catching the threshold through alignment issues, with no toe and heel work completed by the installer, a damaged threshold gasket, an incorrectly adjusted bottom shootbolt and a missing magnet catch. Mild bowing or distortion in the threshold was noted but was within tolerances, so panel alignment was the route to counter it. The repair toe and heeled all panels, realigned them and serviced the locking and roller mechanisms, fitted a new magnet catch to the traffic door and replaced the threshold gasket.
