"Visofold" identifies a family of systems. The Visofold 1000 and 1000 Slim use bottom rollers and offer glass-adjuster details for panel correction, while Visofold 6000 has a recessed bottom roller and floating vertical-divider arrangement. We identify the range before assuming the correct component or adjustment method.
On Visofold 1000, the glass adjuster kit can alter panel height through a 4mm Allen-key device after correct glazing. That is a system-specific adjustment aid, not permission to lift a panel without checking clearance, packers and the frame.
A head or header that has moved can reduce clearance and make the handle feel strained even where the roller assembly is intact. We measure the opening and header relationship before replacing a handle, because a new handle cannot correct lost structural clearance.
The Visofold range is made by fabricators using Smart profiles, so seals, handles, keeps and lock gear can vary. The assessment records the actual system, hardware and threshold, then checks track wear, drainage and panel alignment as one installation.
How the assessment supports the right repair.
The assessment follows nine connected stages, from reviewing the doorset’s history and measuring its condition to checking operation, components and manufacturer tolerances. The findings give us a clear basis for an accurate quotation.
We start with the background and history of the doorset, then take extensive measurements for distortion and check the frame for square and twist. We test operation under load, check drainage paths, and inspect glazing, gaskets and packers. Where parts are involved, components and part numbers are verified against the manufacturer, and every measurement and observation is cross-checked against the manufacturer’s recommended tolerances. After that cross-check, we provide an accurate quotation based on the assessment findings.

Identifying the system, cross-checking component and part availability, and sourcing suitable parts through our established European network of suppliers is our job.
