A three-panel aluminium Clearspan doorset in Cambridge was reported with panels catching the floor and difficult locking. The assessment found alignment issues across all panels requiring toe and heel work, and that no final fixing screws had been fitted by the installer, allowing the panels to drop out of alignment with each other. The repair included a full realignment and service, and fitting final fixing screws to all hinges to provide a long-term repair.

A three-panel timber Brio doorset in Cambridge was reported difficult to close and lock. The assessment found alignment problems, with damage to the hinge collars where previous adjustment had been attempted without removing the collars, and no magnet catch fitted to the traffic door. The repair serviced and realigned the doorset, fitted a magnet catch and replaced the damaged hinge collars.

A three-panel timber Brio doorset in Cambridge was reported with panels catching. The assessment identified damaged hinge collars requiring replacement, and the doorset needed a full realignment and service. A new magnet catch was required for the main door, together with replacement white QLON gasket where necessary. The repair fitted new hinge collars, QLON gasket and a magnet catch, then fully realigned and serviced the doorset.

A three-panel aluminium Schüco doorset in Fen Ditton was reported with the doors not closing properly and a loose handle. The assessment found the panels required realignment, the locking and roller systems needed servicing, and the loose handle needed attention. All panels were toe and heeled and all components serviced, and the handle backplate was tightened — no replacement handle was required.
Smart Systems Visofold · Aluminium · 3 panel · Cottenham
A three-panel aluminium Smart Systems Visofold doorset in Cottenham was reported with the main door unable to close or lock. The assessment found alignment issues throughout, with no toe and heel work completed during installation and no final fixing screws fitted to any of the hinges, which allowed the panels to move out of alignment. The top roller had also been damaged after disconnecting from the frame header, the magnet catch was missing and the threshold gasket was damaged. The doorset was aligned and final fixing screws fitted to all hinges, a replacement top roller hinge fitted, and the damaged threshold gasket and missing corner gasket replaced.
